The piñas are slow-roasted in stone and brick ovens, a time-honored technique that caramelizes the natural sugars and enhances the tequila’s rich, complex character. Unlike mass-produced brands that rely on industrial autoclaves, this slow-roasting method allows for deeper agave expression in every sip.

Fermentation at Las Américas is natural and slow, using open-top stainless steel tanks to let native yeasts interact with the agave juice. This approach enhances the tequila’s nuanced flavors without the need for chemical accelerants. The tequila is then double-distilled in small batches using traditional pot stills with copper coils, refining the spirit while preserving its authentic Lowlands agave character.
